Project Description and Goals:
- This project was created for Royal Credit Union, a financial institution that provides access to financial services and financial literacy education.
- The goal of the giveaway was to increase engagement and gain followers across multiple Royal Credit Union social media accounts.
- The campaign was a multi-day, cross-platform giveaway on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.
Creative Process and Strategy:
- I collaborated with the marketing manager to create a dynamic strategy focused on engagement. We planned to run the giveaway over four days, with a budget of $400 in total.
- We implemented a “Win $50 for you and $50 for a friend” concept, prompting participants to tag friends in comments for entry, enhancing virality.
- Finalizing the strategy, I designed eye-catching graphics and crafted tailored copy for each platform to ensure consistent messaging and visual appeal.

The major success factor of this giveaway was that contestants were coming from one platform and following us on the next for another chance at winning the giveaway. It also worked very well to have contestants tag a friend in the comments, as this engaged double our typically reached audience. Our following increased on each platform: by almost 50 on Snapchat, over 170 on Facebook, and over 200 on Instagram and Twitter.
